This is a resin set of landing gear wheels for the General Dynamics F-16 multi-role fighter in the I version in 1:72 scale from Reskit. It is not an aircraft model but a detailing accessory that replaces the wheels from the kit with more accurate castings with fine relief on both the tire and the hub.
The castings capture the tread pattern and the tire sidewalls as well as the layout of the wheel hubs. The heavier tires of the I version look slightly weighted, so a standing model looks more faithful than it does with the smooth plastic parts from the box. The set is intended for the usual plastic F-16I kits in this scale.
Wash the parts to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and sand the contact surfaces. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate), not with cement for plastic. Protect your airways when sanding resin, and apply a primer before painting.
This is an add-on set, not an aircraft model. It is supplied unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
