A set of self-adhesive painting masks from the Polish maker IBG models, intended for masking the cockpit glazing and the wheels of a model of the single-seat MiG-29 fighter in 1:72 scale. The masks follow the shape of the frames precisely and serve for a clean spray without laboriously outlining the edges. It is neither a kit nor decals.
The Mikoyan MiG-29 is a Soviet, today Russian twin-engine fourth generation frontline fighter with distinctive aerodynamics and high agility. The single-seat version forms the basis of many operators around the world and is a rewarding subject for modelers.
Carefully lift the masks off the sheet, stick them onto clean glazing and wheels according to the shape of the parts and press the edges down carefully so that paint does not creep under the film. Apply thin coats with an airbrush. The masks are shaped for the glazing of the usual MiG-29 models in this scale; before sticking them down, check that they seat exactly on the part.
These are painting masks (an accessory), not a model of the aircraft. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
