This is a resin set of landing gear wheels for the famous North American P-51 Mustang fighter in 1:72 scale from Reskit. It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory that replaces the wheels from the kit with more accurate castings with fine relief on the tire and the rim.
The castings capture the tread pattern and the sidewalls of the tires as well as the layout of the wheel hubs. The wheels give a slightly loaded impression, thanks to which a standing model looks more realistic than with the smooth plastic parts from the box. The set is made for the ordinary plastic kits of the Mustang in this scale.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the mating surfaces. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), not with plastic cement. Protect your airways when sanding resin; apply a primer before painting.
It is an add-on set, not an airplane model. It is supplied unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
