An injection-molded plastic kit of the late lightened version of the American P-51H Mustang fighter from the Czech manufacturer RS Models. The package is completed by resin parts and a decal sheet. The model is meant to be glued and painted.
The P-51H was the fastest production version of the Mustang. It came about as a lightened design at the end of the Second World War, with a revised fuselage, tail surfaces and cockpit canopy, and it looked noticeably different from the earlier Mustangs. It saw practically no combat in the Second World War and served in the postwar period, among others with National Guard units.
Clean up the parts and offer them up dry, and bond the resin with super glue. The metallic shades of natural duralumin come into their own on a smoothly sanded and primed surface; a gloss base also helps under the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
