Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Polish light multi-purpose airplane in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian brand Amodel, in the less common float version. It is a short-run kit with fine detail that modelers with some experience will appreciate — it calls for more careful clean-up and fitting of the parts.
The PZL-104 Wilga is a Polish high-wing airplane famous for its short takeoff and landing. It served as a liaison, observation, air ambulance and agricultural aircraft, as a glider tug and for parachute jumping. The float version extended its use to stretches of water, where it made the most of the airplane's excellent takeoff qualities.
With a short-run tooling, expect heavier sprue gate remnants and weaker locating pins — clean the parts up first and try them dry. Glue the glazing of the large cabin with cement for clear parts. Reinforce the attachment of the floats to the fuselage carefully and bond it with super glue; apply a primer before painting and finish the surface with an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
