A 3D-printed resin accessory set from the PRINT range by the Czech maker Eduard. This is not an aircraft model but a detailed replacement for the landing gear (wheel) bay of the P-51B/C Mustang fighter kit in 1:48 scale. The set is designed for Eduard kits.
It replaces the simplified plastic landing gear bay with a single compact 3D-printed part with a faithful structure of ribs, piping and runs. Direct 3D printing allows a fineness of detail that injection-molded plastic cannot reach, and the bay is best seen from below on the finished model.
Wash the print resin residue off the part, separate it carefully from the print supports and clean it up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and use respiratory protection when sanding. The detail comes out once the part is painted and gently picked out with a wash in the recesses.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
