A plastic kit of the Polish fighter PZL P.11g in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The PZL P.11 was a Polish high-wing fighter of the 1930s, easily recognized by the wing cranked into a gull shape, the fixed landing gear and the radial engine. The P.11g version was a late development stage of the whole line and remained a prototype; it never reached series production. That makes it all the more interesting for modelers: it is a machine you do not see in ordinary display cases, and yet it carries the family features of the best known Polish fighter of its time.
The kit consists of plastic parts on sprues in 1:72 scale. The parts are glued with ordinary modeling cement for polystyrene. After taking a part off the sprue, cut the remains of the gate off a little way from the part, sand the spot down and go over the mold parting seams on the fuselage and on the engine cowling, where they would stand out once painted.
Paint and glue the cockpit and the inside of the fuselage before you close the fuselage up; you will not get to them later. The radial engine is visible through the cowling on this type, so it pays to give it time and bring the cylinders out with a wash. Seat the wing, cranked at the root, according to the instructions and check the symmetry of the dihedral from the front while the glue is setting. Wash and degrease the model before painting.
The set belongs to modelers of interwar aviation and to builders of Polish machinery; it assumes ordinary experience with building a plastic model in a small scale. The package contains the kit alone, unless stated otherwise; paints, glue and filler are not included.
