An injection-molded plastic kit of the supersonic McDonnell RF-101A Voodoo reconnaissance aircraft in the service of the Republic of China Air Force (ROCAF) in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Valom. The package contains plastic parts and a decal sheet with markings for ROCAF machines. It is a short-run kit suitable for a more careful build.
The RF-101A was the first production tactical reconnaissance version of the Voodoo. Instead of radar and armament it carried a set of cameras in a reworked nose. Machines of this version also flew with the Republic of China Air Force, where they carried out reconnaissance tasks in the Cold War period.
Try the parts dry first, glue them with liquid cement for plastic and even out the seams with putty. Before the decals, a gloss varnish is useful, as it prevents silvering. On a natural metal scheme a quality metallic paint comes out well over a smoothly sanded surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
