Reskit 1:72 wheels for the Tu-95 (Tu-142) (weighted) is a resin accessory for improving the massive landing gear, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A replacement set of wheels for models of the Soviet and Russian Tu-95 strategic aircraft, or of the naval Tu-142 variant, in 1:72 scale. It is a detail accessory that replaces the plastic wheels from the box. The tires have a weighted effect, that is a flattened contact patch, which looks particularly convincing on a heavy machine.
The Tu-95, NATO code name Bear, is a four-engine turboprop strategic bomber with its characteristic contra-rotating propellers, and its Tu-142 variant served for maritime patrol and anti-submarine work. The massive multi-wheel landing gear is a prominent part of the model and good wheels noticeably improve its appearance.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, separate the casting gates and clean the surfaces up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Orient the flattened contact patch of the tires toward the ground. Paint the tires in a matte dark gray and the hubs to suit the subject.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
