US M4A3(76) in Europe 1944-45, decals 1:72

Waterslide (wet) decals in 1:72 scale with the markings of American M4A3(76) Sherman medium tanks deployed in Europe in 1944 and 1945. The sheet covers vehicles from several tank battalions, including named machines such as Thunderbolt, Cool Studs Inc, Counter Attack and Billie-Boy.

The real subject

The M4A3(76) was a more capable variant of the Sherman tank with a longer 76 mm gun that improved its anti-armor performance at the end of the Second World War. Individual machines carried distinctive names, national insignia and tactical numbers, and this sheet captures them.

Use

• Coat the area under the decal with gloss varnish.
• Cut the decal out and dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds.
• Slide it off the backing paper into place and position it.
• Press out the air and the excess water, settle it with a decal softener and seal it with matte varnish.

Who the set is for

• Builders of Allied armored vehicles of the Second World War.
• Anyone interested in particular named Sherman tanks.

This is a standalone decal sheet, not a vehicle model. The base kit and paints are not included in the package.
