The FAB-1500 bomb with the UMPK module in 1:72 is a printed stores accessory for models of Russian combat aircraft. An airplane model it is not.

An add-on armament set in 1:72 scale from the Russian manufacturer Temp Models, printed from photopolymer. The contents are a high-explosive aerial bomb of the 1500 kilogram weight class completed with a universal planning and correction module, that is with a gliding attachment. The set is hung under a finished kit and does not make up an aircraft model itself.
The FAB-1500 is a high-explosive bomb of the 1500 kilogram weight class, intended against fortifications, buildings and large structures. According to the manufacturer's description the UMPK module turns it into a precision-guided corrected weapon: it adds a wing and a control unit, so after release the bomb glides and heads for entered coordinates. Thanks to that the carrier does not have to enter the belt of the air defenses.
The parts are printed from photopolymer, so thin print supports are left on them. Cut them away with a sharp scalpel or photo-etch nippers and sand the pad they leave with fine abrasive paper. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, that is with super glue, because polystyrene cement has no effect on this material. Lay down a filler primer before painting; it will at the same time reveal any remains of the supports. Sanding is best done wet and with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
