The set contains three brushes with natural hair in sizes S, M and L, designed exclusively for the dry-brushing technique. It is neither a paint nor a kit, but a tool for painting and weathering. The brushes are made by the Spanish brand Vallejo. The shorter and springier set of the hair is typical of the dry brush — it carries only a small amount of almost dry paint and transfers it evenly onto the surface.

Use

• Pick up a little paint on the brush and wipe most of it off on paper so that the brush stays almost dry.
• Run light strokes over raised edges, rivets, molded details and textures — the paint clings only to the high points and brings them out.
• Use size S for small details and fine edges, M for medium areas, L for large textures (terrain, armored vehicles, the drapery of figures).
• It works best with a lighter shade over a darker base (edge highlighting).
• Clean the brushes immediately after work — dried paint damages natural hair beyond repair.
