A resin Kh-29T air-to-ground guided missile in 1:72 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. The resin print manages the bulky body and the large lifting surfaces in one piece. It is not an aircraft model but a separate store to be hung under the wing of a finished model.
The Kh-29 is a heavy Soviet air-to-ground missile intended against hardened point targets such as bridges, shelters or concrete structures. For its category it carries an unusually powerful warhead, which makes it short and fat. The letter T stands for television guidance: the pilot finds the target on a screen, locks it on, and after launch the missile guides itself, so the carrier can leave the area at once.
Release the missile body from the supports on a work mat and without bending it. Sand the marks down with fine paper and wet sand, with respiratory protection. Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water before painting. The transparent cover of the seeker head at the nose is done in a clear coat or a polished metallic paint. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
