The set of sensors and antennas for the Su-35S in 1:48 scale is a 3D-printed resin accessory from Temp Models.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of sensors and antennas for a model of the Su-35S fighter in 1:48 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. These are the small protruding items on the airframe, which in plastic tend to be needlessly thick, because a thinner shape would not come out of the mold. Printing in resin manages fine sections. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for a finished model.
The Su-35S is the most capable single-seat machine of the Su-27 family and against the older versions it differs in the make-up of its external sensors as well. Besides the air data probes and communication antennas it carries items tied to radar warning and to passive surveillance of the surroundings. It is precisely the differences in this small fit that tend to tell a modeler which version of the family a photograph shows.
Work over a surface and with tweezers that have smooth jaws; the parts are very small. Cut the supports off with a new blade; never break them. Cut off the original plastic stubs from the kit and smooth the area. Fit them only once the varnishing and the weathering are finished. Apply the glue with a pin in the tiniest drop.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
