For this set the manufacturer gives finely detailed nose and braked wheels in the weighted state and a nose gear mudguard of the correct shape. It replaces the plastic wheels from the kit, but it does not make up an aircraft model.
The Su-27 is a Soviet heavy twin-engine fighter with the characteristic blended transition from the wing into the fuselage. It is powered by two AL-31F turbofan engines with afterburners. Its high takeoff weight shows on the landing gear as well: on a standing aircraft the tires are clearly weighted and flattened, and the nose leg carries a prominent mudguard that plastic kits often simplify.
Cut the print supports away with a scalpel and sand the pad they leave, ideally on the side that sits on the ground. Glue the wheels with cyanoacrylate glue, that is with super glue. Lay down a filler primer before painting. Do not paint the tires pure black; a very dark gray with a lighter dust pigment on the sidewalls and in the tread is better. Sanding is best done wet and with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
