A modeling paint from the Gunze Mr.Color range in the shade of the Imperial Japanese Navy camouflage coat designated Type 22.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a single-shade modeling paint tied by its name to the Imperial Japanese Navy camouflage coat designated Type 22. Paints intended for this purpose suit the building of Japanese naval equipment from the Second World War, where the shade matters more than almost anything else for the final impression. The assignment of the shade to specific subjects and recommended combinations are given in the manufacturer's color chart. The paint belongs to the Mr.Color range, which has its own dedicated thinner.
Mix the bottle contents thoroughly before use; the pigment settles to the bottom over time, and an unmixed paint changes both shade and covering power. Choose the thinner and mixing ratio per the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging, specifically for this range. Wash and degrease the model's surface beforehand. Apply thin coats and let the paint dry between them; a single heavy coat buries fine surface detail and dries unevenly. Always test the shade on a scrap of plastic first, not directly on the model.
When spraying, work in a well-ventilated area and protect your airways. Close the bottle carefully after use and wipe the thread, since dried paint on the thread will eventually make the cap impossible to tighten and the remaining contents will dry out. Clean tools and the airbrush right after finishing, with thinner made for this range.
The paint alone is supplied. Thinner, brushes and an airbrush are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
