Light Brown is a light brown shade from the Mr.Color line, marked with the code C321. It comes in a semi-gloss finish, that is a surface halfway between flat and gloss. Semi-gloss suits every place where a completely flat surface would look dead, and at the same time it is a kinder base for decals than a deep flat.
Light brown is one of those shades a modeler gets through across every field. It comes into play on ground equipment and in earthy camouflage patterns, on wooden parts, on the leather and textile gear of figures, on the floors and walls of buildings in dioramas. It also serves well as a base under dust and deposits of earth, because it creates a warm foundation on which later weathering layers look natural.
Stir the paint thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles at the bottom when left standing. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging and use the thinner intended for this line. Apply it in several thin coats rather than one heavy one, otherwise the detail will lose its definition. Work in a well-ventilated area with both the airbrush and the brush, and close the bottle carefully after work so that the paint does not thicken. Test the shade beforehand on a spare part or a piece of plastic: brown tones look different once dry and once a clear coat is over them than they do in the bottle.
