Mr. Color Khaki is a muted brownish green shade of uniforms, gear and field equipment. A lacquer paint in a 10 ml package.
Responsibility details are not available.
Khaki is not a single shade but a whole group of brownish green tones that armies used on uniforms, tarpaulins, packs and field equipment. This particular tone is medium dark with a marked brown component, so it suits textiles rather than the metal surfaces of vehicles. On figures it works as a base over which you then work with lighter and darker shades.
Under the pigment stands a lacquer on an organic solvent, so it cannot be thinned with water. It can be thinned exclusively with the thinner from this range, with the dose adjusted according to how it behaves in the airbrush. The bottle holds ten milliliters and the cured surface is tough and takes further work.
With figures it pays to lay the base shade down rather darker, because light is achieved more easily by adding than by taking away. The opposite procedure leads to the figure gradually bleaching out and losing contrast.
Muted shades easily merge into one surface when you use them on too many elements at once. It pays to alternate them with more pronounced tones so that a figure does not look uniform.
