A 3D-printed relief decal set that adds raised panel lines and fine weld beads to the smooth surface of a model. It is applied like a decal but carries a real relief, so once it is on it creates a raised surface texture with no engraving or etching. This variant has a high relief, that is the most pronounced height of detail.

What it is for

The set is intended above all for the hulls and superstructures of ships, where you easily create a network of raised plates and welds. High relief suits large scales and places where the texture is to be obvious at first glance.

Use

• Clean the surface and coat it with gloss varnish for reliable adhesion.
• Cut the piece out, dip it in lukewarm water and slide it into place.
• Do not use a decal softener, as it attacks the printed resin; press the relief onto the shape of the surface with a cotton bud.
• Once dry, go over it with paint and a matte varnish as needed.
