The personal kit of a crew is among the details that move a model the furthest: an empty vehicle looks like a show exhibit, whereas a few personal items hung on the armor or tossed onto the deck suggest that somebody uses the machine.
The flasks can be hung on brackets, laid beside a seat, propped against a crate in a trench scene or shared out among figures.
