The pliers are not included in the package and you have to own them already; without them this product is unusable. What a non-scratch jaw grip means and why a modeler wants one

The jaws of these pliers are soft and non-metallic. The metal jaws of ordinary pliers leave scratches, marks and dents on whatever they grip - on coarse wire that does not matter, but on a painted part, on photo-etched sheet, on a clear part or on thin wire it is damage you cannot put right again. A soft jaw holds firmly but neither scratches nor deforms the surface. That is why these pliers are used for holding and bending fine parts, etched sheet and wire and for handling parts that are already painted.
