About product

Vallejo Model Color Scarlet (RLM 23)

A single 17 ml bottle of Vallejo Model Color acrylic paint with a dropper cap. Scarlet is a bright, rich scarlet red in the region of the aviation standard RLM 23 Rot. The paint is water-thinnable, flat once dry and durable.

Use

  • With a brush straight from the bottle, and with an airbrush once thinned with water or with Vallejo thinner.
  • Suitable for bold red areas, markings, stripes and details of aircraft models.
  • Richness is reached even over a light base by layering thin coats.
  • It combines well with a white base for maximum brightness.

Who the paint is for

For aircraft modelers and figure painters who need a clean, bold red.

Shake before use. Keep out of the reach of children and ventilate while working.

FAQ

It is an international aviation color standard for red that gives an idea of the resulting shade. It works as the identity of the tone.

Apply it over a white or light base and build it up in thin coats.

Yes, once thinned with water or with Vallejo thinner. For the brush it also works unthinned.
