The boarding ladder for the Su-25 in 1:72 is a printed ground crew accessory for dioramas. It is not an airplane model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A piece of ground equipment in 1:72 scale from the Russian manufacturer Temp Models, printed from photopolymer. The manufacturer intends it for work during the ground servicing of aircraft and for the crew getting in and out, that is above all for dioramas on an aviation theme. An aircraft model is not included in the package.
A boarding ladder is part of the basic equipment of an airfield apron. The pilot climbs it into the cockpit and technicians use it to reach the cockpit, the avionics and the stores. With the Su-25 that was doubly true: the ground-attack aircraft was built to operate from forward and unpaved surfaces, where all the preparation and maintenance went on right under the aircraft and without fixed facilities.
The parts are printed from photopolymer and are held on thin print supports; cut those away with a sharp scalpel and sand the pad. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, that is with super glue. Once a filler primer is laid down, a dark wash into the recesses of the structure and fine chipping on the edges of the steps will stand out on the ladder. Hold the small parts with tweezers and work over a mat with a raised edge. Sanding is best done wet and with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
