Vallejo True Metallic Metal BASE - Arcane Gold

Arcane Gold is the base metallic tone from the True Metallic Metal (TMM) line by the brand Vallejo. The water-thinnable acrylic with its fine metallic pigment gives a surface the look of a gold metal alloy. The TMM line is a system: each family has a base tone BASE (full coverage), a lightening LIGHT, a satin non-metallic SHADE and an airbrush variant. BASE is the carrying coat of the effect. The package has a volume of 18 ml.

Use

• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, as the metallic pigment settles to the bottom.
• The best effect comes on a smooth, dark base, ideally over a black or dark primer.
• It is laid on with a brush as well as an airbrush and thinned with water or with Vallejo acrylic thinner.
• Lay metallics on rather at the end, as they are harder to mask and to overspray.
• You will deepen the effect with the LIGHT lightening and the satin SHADE from the same family.
