Gray from the Aerial scheme

On robots, gray is the tone that holds the scheme together: it breaks up the large white and colored areas, sits on joints, weapons and the inner structure, and is the one color of the whole palette used on almost every part. This shade is mixed for the finish of the machine that appears under the name Aerial, so you need not search for the right gray by mixing your own. It serves just as well outside robots, anywhere a neutral gray fits.

Properties and application

This is a water-thinnable acrylic paint ready for use. Stir it thoroughly before work, so the pigment settled at the bottom returns through the whole volume; unstirred paint shifts both the shade and the sheen. It can be laid on with a brush and with an airbrush. For spraying, thin it with the thinner of the same line according to the manufacturer's instructions, as another thinner can curdle the coat. Wash and degrease the plastic first, so the paint takes evenly, and work in several thin layers instead of one heavy one.
