Protože skutečný olej se leskne. Zachovaný lesk je záměr — díky němu vypadá skvrna jako mastnota, ne jako hnědá barva. Čerstvý úkap uděláte silnější vrstvou, starší zaschlý olej vrstvou tenčí.

Tam, kde by olej reálně unikal: pod motor a převodovku, kolem plnicích víček a filtru, k těsněním a spojům, na podlahu dílny nebo garáže v dioramatu.

Dokud nezaschne, setřete přebytek štětcem navlhčeným ve vhodném ředidle pro enamely. Právě proto se doporučuje pracovat na vytvrzeném lesklém laku — přebytek jde odstranit čistě.
