The muted green shade Green Drab from the Hataka Orange Line range, listed with the reference FS 34086.
Responsibility details are not available.
Green Drab is a muted green shifted toward gray and toward brown, that is a shade that looks neither fresh nor as green as grass on a model. That is exactly what is expected of a camouflage color: it should knock a surface back, not make it glow. The item comes from the Hataka Orange Line range and carries the manufacturer's part number HTK-C052.
The figure FS 34086 is a reference to the American Federal Standard of shades. The number serves so that the same shade can be found across paint manufacturers: when a kit's instructions call for a shade by Federal Standard, this is exactly the reference to look for. Shades with this designation appear above all on American aircraft and ground vehicles. The number describes a shade, not a particular machine: one reference commonly turns up on several types and in several periods, so always follow the instructions for what you are building.
Stir the pot thoroughly before use, as settled pigment will otherwise shift the resulting shade. The thinner intended for this range and the thinning ratio are given by the manufacturer on the package; keep to those instructions. Apply several light coats rather than one heavy one, letting the surface set between them. Try the shade beforehand on a piece of scrap plastic, as muted greens behave differently on a large surface than on a test strip. Lay masking tape only onto a cured coat.
The model, thinner, brushes and airbrushes are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
