Desítka je na rovné hrany, běžné maskování a rychlé zakrytí větších částí. Na oblouky, křivky a tenké dělicí čáry je lepší užší šířka — široká páska se v zatáčce krčí a barva pak podtéká.

Lepidlo je záměrně slabé, aby šlo pásku sundat bez stržení barvy či primeru. Přesto lepte až na dobře proschlý nátěr, odlepujte pomalu pod ostrým úhlem a u citlivých laků vyzkoušejte přilnavost na skrytém místě.
