A small flying model supplied as a kit. The manufacturer recommends it to beginning modelers from eight years old and gives a wingspan of 510 mm, a length of 410 mm and a lowest weight of 20 grams. The parts are laser-cut, so releasing and cleaning them up takes a minimum of time and the build does not turn into a fight with the material.
According to the details from the manufacturer the assembly takes about an hour, which makes the model a rewarding afternoon project. The flights run at around thirty seconds and in calm weather they can stretch to as much as one minute. The model is released by a throw, so no launching device or other extra equipment is needed.
For children from eight years old under adult supervision, for hobby clubs and for anyone who wants to find out whether building flying models is fun for them before reaching for a more demanding structure. It is supplied unassembled; to finish it, get glue and a fine abrasive material for leveling the edges ready. Anyone starting the build with a child does well to prepare a flat surface and a few pins to hold the parts until the joint dries. The reward is a model you can take outside the same day.
