Mr.Paint MRP-A081 Zinc-Chromate Primer (MRP Aqua, 17 ml)

A modeling paint from the manufacturer Mr.Paint, from the Aqua range. The paints with the code MRP-A are water-thinnable acrylics — unlike the classic MRP lacquer range they are thinned with water or with the acrylic thinner of the same range, have minimal odor and are intended for airbrush and brush alike. The package is a dropper bottle of 17 ml. The Zinc-Chromate Primer shade reproduces the characteristic yellow-green zinc chromate protective coating with which the internal aluminum structures, interiors and landing gear bays of American aircraft were treated during the Second World War. It is therefore not a modeling primer under paint but the shade of a real protective coating — a covering paint like any other.

Use

• Interiors, cabins and internal structures of American aircraft of the Second World War.
• Landing gear bays, the inner sides of gear doors and other internal surfaces in the yellow-green shade.
• Airbrush application: the paint is ready to spray, or it can be thinned further with water or the manufacturer's acrylic thinner.
• Brush application: thin coats, with each one left to dry through.
• A suitable primer improves adhesion, on resin and photo-etched parts in particular.

A water-thinnable acrylic. Shake it thoroughly before use. Work in a well-ventilated room and use respiratory protection when spraying — even an acrylic paint forms an aerosol. Protect from frost and keep out of the reach of children. Clean the airbrush and brushes with water or the manufacturer's cleaner immediately after use.
