Natural Steel is an acrylic metallic from the 3rd Generation line by AK interactive, a natural steel shade for worn metal parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
A cooler metal shade corresponding to bare steel, that is a material neither polished to a mirror nor oxidized to gray. It is used everywhere the finish has been worn off a part by work and the metal underneath has appeared. The paint is an acrylic with a metallic pigment, thinned with water or with acrylic thinner of the same type.
In an airbrush the shade behaves differently than under a brush, and it is worth thinking about that in advance. Thin the paint gradually for an airbrush and spray rather more thin passes at lower pressure, as an over-thinned metallic lets the pigment separate and the area stays watery. With a brush, on the contrary, it pays to work with the paint almost unthinned and in short strokes in one direction, so that the pigment lines up and leaves no blotches. For the finest wear dry brushing proves itself: run an almost dry brush across the edges and the metal settles only on the exposed places. The metallic pigment settles at the bottom, so mix it as you work.
For builders of equipment and figures who work on the wear of metal parts, and for diorama makers with workshop and tool scenes.
Mix before use and during the work and close the bottle. Store at room temperature, out of the reach of children.
