Alclad II RAF Azure Blue is a modeling enamel paint thinned with solvent. A light blue shade of the lower surfaces of British aircraft from the Mediterranean and desert environment.
Responsibility details are not available.
An opaque modeling paint from the Alclad II enamel range, thinned with solvent. It is not an acrylic and it is not a nitrocellulose lacquer; the chemistry is enamel with everything that goes with it: a separate thinner, longer drying and a smooth flow. Azure Blue is a light blue shade with which the Royal Air Force painted the lower surfaces of machines operating in the Mediterranean and in north Africa, where a light blue matched the sky there better than the grayer European tones.
For modelers of British aircraft from the Mediterranean and north African environment and for anyone who needs a light blue lower surface in the right tone. The shade is fairly light, so it forgives few faults in the base and rewards careful preparation of the surface. Within the enamel range it can be shaded well toward a lighter or a darker tone if you are building a machine faded after a longer spell of service in the sun.
It contains a flammable solvent. Ensure ventilation, use a respirator while spraying, do not work near open flame and keep out of the reach of children.
