Dark gray RLM 66 in the form dated to 1941, an acrylic paint from the Real Colors range in a 17 ml package. The color of cockpits and interior equipment of German aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
The dark gray RLM 66 is the cockpit color for builders of German aircraft. This bottle carries the form of the shade dated to 1941; the range offers the earlier form separately. The choice between them is a matter of the period the subject belongs to, because the difference between the two tones is subtle and on a finished model it shows mainly when they are compared side by side.
On the inner walls of the cockpit, on the floor, on the instrument panel and on the canopy frame from the inside. It also serves for small equipment glued into the compartment separately and for resin or photo-etched interior sets that have to match the rest of the cockpit. Keep some of the paint for touching up spots sanded during the build.
The paint is supplied in a volume of 17 ml. Do not pour leftovers from the palette back into the bottle, so that no dirt gets into it. Thinner, primer, varnish and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging for thinning, tool cleaning and storage. Work in a well ventilated room and keep the bottle carefully closed and out of reach of children.
