RLM 72 Grun

Mr.Paint RLM 72 Grün

A lacquer-based modeling paint from manufacturer Mr.Paint (MRP) in the shade RLM 72 Grün. It reproduces the dark green upper camouflage color of the Luftwaffe from the Second World War. The paint is pre-thinned and ready to spray with an airbrush straight from the bottle.

Use

• the historical shade for the upper surfaces of German naval aircraft — floatplanes, flying boats (e.g. He 115, Do 24), and torpedo bombers
• forms a two-tone green splinter (segmented) scheme paired with RLM 73 Grün
• the lower surfaces of these aircraft were usually finished in light blue RLM 65
• spray with an airbrush in several thin coats, at a pressure of roughly 12-20 psi depending on airbrush type
• if needed, thin with lacquer thinner from the same line; clean with lacquer cleaner

Who it is for

For modelers building Luftwaffe aircraft who work with an airbrush and want an exact RLM shade with fine pigment and a smooth, durable lacquer finish. Lacquer paints require good ventilation and respiratory protection.

Designed for airbrush. Flammable, harmful fumes — use in a well-ventilated space, with a respirator and gloves, away from open flame and children.
