A modeling paint of the Real Colors range in the olive green shade RLM 80 to the German aviation standard. A bottle of 17 ml, code RC948.
Responsibility details are not available.
RLM 80 is an olive green tone of the German RLM aviation standard. It turns up mainly as an added camouflage color in patches and irregular bands on the upper surfaces, where it breaks up the continuous area of the base shade and changes the outline of the machine seen from above.
Typically for the patches sprayed over a sand base on machines in desert finish; the sand shade RLM 79 is carried by the same range under the code RC947, so you can have both tones of one scheme from a single palette. It also suits anywhere else you need a muted olive green with no blue cast, that is on vehicles, crates, the equipment of figures or diorama accessories. The layout of the patches differed from machine to machine, so go by the references for your particular kit.
Mix the bottle thoroughly before use, as settled pigment will otherwise change both the tone and the coverage. Wash and degrease the surface. Spray the patches with thinned paint at low pressure and from a short distance, so that the edge stays soft and no hard rim appears; try the setting on an offcut of plastic before you touch the model. Lay the paint on in thin coats and let it flash off between them. A darker green covers readily over a light base, so you will use less of it than you would expect.
The package holds one bottle of 17 ml. Thinner, primer, masking material and tools are not included, unless stated otherwise. The recommended thinner and the thinning ratio are given by the manufacturer.
