A solid plastic profile of circular section from Plastruct, made of polystyrene (styrene). The rod is 6.4 mm in diameter and 250 mm long. It serves as a versatile modeling material for scratch-building, detailing and repairs.
The profile cuts easily with a sharp modeling knife or a saw and is glued with cement for polystyrene, which melts and joins the surface, or with super glue. The cut edges can be sanded and the surface takes modeling paints without trouble once a primer has been applied.
This is a modeling raw material (a raw plastic profile), not a kit. Glue, paints and tools are not included in the package.
