Russian Grey Green 17 ml.

Real Colors RC879 Russian Grey Green, 17 ml

A modeling acrylic paint from the Real Colors range by AK Interactive, the manufacturer's part number RC879, in a 17 ml package. The shade is listed under the name Russian Grey Green, a gray-green from the Russian palette. The green in it is markedly broken toward gray.

Where you will use the shade

Gray-green tones suit places where a pure green would look too raw: inner surfaces, pieces of equipment, small accessories and as the muted component of a multi-color camouflage. They also come into their own when mixing transitions between the green and the gray parts of a scheme. Check the actual layout of colors on the machine you are building in the documentation for the model.

How to work with the paint

• Stir the contents of the bottle thoroughly before taking any out; the pigment settles at the bottom.
• Apply it in several thin coats so that the surface relief stays legible.
• Muted tones take stronger shading; otherwise they merge into one flat area on a model.
• For thinning and for cleaning tools, use the thinner intended for the Real Colors range; the ratio is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
• Make a test spray on scrap plastic, not on a finished part.

Packaging and storage

Always close the bottle carefully and keep it away from heat and frost. Paint that has thickened can be thinned, but check the final shade on a test sample. The package holds one bottle of paint of 17 ml. Thinner, brushes, an airbrush and the model are not included, unless stated otherwise.
