Russian Modern Green 17 ml.

Real Colors RC877 Russian Modern Green, 17 ml

An acrylic modeling paint of the Real Colors range from AK Interactive, the manufacturer's part number RC877, a 17 ml package. The shade is carried under the name Russian Modern Green, that is the green of modern Russian vehicles.

Where You Will Use the Shade

It lends itself to models of ground vehicles of the postwar and contemporary period, whether as an overall coat or as the green component of a multi-color camouflage. It also serves well on the accessories that accompany a vehicle: crates, drums, racks and transport containers. Check the particular scheme and the layout of the patches in the documentation for the machine you are building, because it differs from vehicle to vehicle.

How to work with the paint

• Stir the contents of the bottle thoroughly before you pick the paint up, otherwise you will apply a tone starved of pigment.
• Build the paint up from several thin coats, as one thick coat floods the engraving and the anti-slip surfaces.
• With a multi-color camouflage, let each coat dry completely before you apply the next shade.
• Use the thinner intended for the Real Colors range for thinning and for cleaning tools; the manufacturer's instructions give the ratio.
• Spray a test on scrap plastic rather than straight on the model.

Package and Storage

Close the bottle carefully after work and keep it away from heat and frost, as an opened paint thickens. Thickened paint can be thinned again, and the shade should then be checked on a sample. The package holds one bottle of paint with a volume of 17 ml. Thinner, brushes, an airbrush and the model are not included, unless stated otherwise.
