The set serves to imitate Zimmerit on a model of the Sd.Kfz.166 Brummbär heavy assault gun (Sturmpanzer IV) in 1:35 scale. Zimmerit was a textured protective paste applied to German vehicles during the war against magnetic mines. The product is an accessory with which you give the surface of a model a faithful texture, not a standalone vehicle kit.
The Brummbär was a heavy assault gun built on the chassis of the Panzer IV tank and armed with a short 150 mm howitzer. It was deployed for the direct fire support of infantry in urban fighting. A number of vehicles carried a Zimmerit coating on their armor.
Degrease the surface of the model before application and seat the parts in smaller areas, so that the pattern runs on smoothly. Choose the glue according to the material of the set. Zimmerit comes into its own best after painting and accentuation with a darker wash, which runs into the texture.
The accessory is supplied unpainted, and the vehicle model itself is not included in the package.
