Mr.Paint modeling paint in the Tan 507M shade, the sandy brown from the palette of the modern Swedish Air Force. Intended above all for spraying with an airbrush.
Responsibility details are not available.
Tan 507M is a sandy brown tone carried under the Swedish designation 507M. It is one of the shades that covered large areas of the airframe in the modern Swedish Air Force, and against green and gray tones it looks warmer and lighter. In scale, browns of this kind usually appear a little lighter than on the real aircraft, because the coat of paint is thin and light reflects off a model differently than off an aircraft in the open.
The Mr.Paint range is ready for the airbrush and is applied in thin coats, which are left to flash off between passes. Adjust the consistency with the thinner recommended by the maker of the range so that both coverage and a smooth surface are preserved. A thin coat keeps the raised relief of the surface, the panel edges and the riveting, whereas a single heavy pass floods the detail.
Wash and degrease the surface of the model before painting; on resin and photo-etched parts a primer is worth using. Apply the masks before spraying, not onto a dried coat, and lift them shortly after the paint has flashed off so that the edge does not tear. Let the paint cure properly before you seal the model with varnish.
The paint is for modelers building Swedish Air Force subjects or looking for a warm sandy tone for a camouflage combination of their own. The thinner, the varnish and the tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
