Mr.Paint Tyre - Rubber (Matt)

An acrylic lacquer modeling paint from the Slovak brand Mr.Paint (MRP). The shade Tyre - Rubber (Matt) is a flat rubber color intended for a realistic rendering of tires and other rubber parts on models. The dark gray-black flat tone imitates worn rubber more faithfully than plain black. The paint is already pre-thinned to a consistency suitable for spraying straight through an airbrush and leaves a thin, flat film once dry. It comes in a bottle (usually 30 ml).

Use

• Spraying with an airbrush onto plastic models: for this paint the airbrush is the only recommended way of applying it.
• Tires on aircraft and vehicles and other rubber parts (seals, covers, hoses).
• The flat surface makes a good base for later pigments and dust effects when weathering tires.
• The paint can be mixed with the other Mr.Paint lacquer shades and, if needed, thinned with MRP lacquer thinner.
• It is applied in thin coats; clean the airbrush and your tools with a suitable cleaner after work.
