These are finished scenic objects, not a model kit and not a loose medium. According to the name the set is cast in polyurethane resin and matched in size to figures 30 to 35 mm, that is to the usual wargaming size. Transport cases are an all-purpose prop: they work as cargo, as improvised cover and as an element with which an empty spot in a composition can be filled.
The cases suit a depot and supply area, the bed of a vehicle, a field post and a gaming surface as a low obstacle. More interesting than a straight row is irregular stacking: one case open, another askew, a third leaning against a wall. Combining them with other small items of the same size range gives a scene depth and suggests the activity going on in the place.
First wash the castings in lukewarm water with dish soap to get the remains of the mold release agent off the surface, because otherwise the paint will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutting disc, and never break them off. Do the sanding wet and with respiratory protection, because resin dust is fine. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, as a glue for plastic does not work on resin. Apply a primer before painting and fine-tune the surface with a wash that brings out the edges and the joints.
