Tamiya X-33 Bronze is a gloss acrylic metallic paint in a bronze shade, packaged in a 10 ml bottle. This is a modeling paint, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A water-thinnable Tamiya acrylic paint in the X-33 Bronze shade, i.e. bronze. The letter X in the designation means the paint belongs to Tamiya's gloss line; matte shades carry the code XF. The bottle holds 10 ml of paint. This is a modeling paint, not a kit — nothing is built from it; it is used to paint a model you already have.
X-33 is a metallic, so it contains a coarser metal pigment that settles to the bottom of the bottle. Stir the paint thoroughly before every use, ideally even during a longer painting session — otherwise you will end up applying just the binder without any shine. Metallic pigments look best on a smooth, sealed, and preferably gloss base; a matte or grainy base mutes their effect. So save the metallic for the end of the painting process: it is hard to overcoat, does not take washes and weathering layers well, and masking tape can damage or peel the metallic surface when removed. If you must mask it, use low-tack tape and pre-stick and unstick it once on the back of your hand. For spraying, thin the paint with Tamiya X-20A acrylic thinner.
For modelers of historical ships, artillery and figures, builders of dioramas with bronze elements, and anyone who needs an authentic, glossy bronze tone without mixing their own shade. Suitable for both brush and airbrush.
Use the paint in a well-ventilated area, and avoid inhaling fumes and overspray when airbrushing. Keep out of the reach of children. Close the bottle tightly after use.
