About product

Tamiya X-33 Bronze – metallic enamel paint 10 ml

A Tamiya synthetic (solvent-based) enamel paint with a volume of 10 ml from the gloss X range. The shade X-33 Bronze is a bronze. It is the ENAMEL Tamiya range, which is thinned with X-20 enamel thinner (without the letter A) – it is not an acrylic and is thinned neither with water nor with X-20A.

Use

  • it is applied with a brush and with an airbrush once thinned
  • it is thinned with Tamiya X-20 enamel thinner (without the letter A)
  • the metallic pigment settles at the bottom – stir thoroughly before and during work
  • it looks best over a smooth base; apply it rather at the end, because it is harder to mask

Who it is for

For modelers who want a saturated metallic bronze effect on bodies, accessories or details. Do not apply a lacquer (nitro) clear coat over dried enamel, because it would dissolve it – choose a clear coat compatible with enamel.

A flammable solvent-based liquid. Use in a well-ventilated space, away from open flame and sources of ignition, and keep out of the reach of children. Avoid breathing in the fumes and contact with skin and eyes.

FAQ

An enamel paint. It is thinned with Tamiya X-20 enamel thinner without the letter A, not with water or with acrylic X-20A.

The metallic pigment settles at the bottom. Stir it thoroughly before and during work, so that the metal effect is even.

Use a clear coat compatible with enamel. A lacquer (nitro) clear coat would disturb dried enamel.
