DSPIAE XPB-02 Dawning, a 0.2 mm tungsten steel scribing tip

This is a modeling scribing tool (a push broach) in fully forged tungsten steel. The hardened tip, 0.2 mm wide, holds its edge for a long time and lets you scribe a clean, straight line of even depth. The tool belongs to the Dawning range and fits into a separately sold holder, thanks to which it is worked by drawing toward you.

Use

• Scribing new panel lines and restoring lines lost after filling and sanding.
• The 0.2 mm width suits fine detail and smaller scales.
• It is guided along a steel rule or a template in repeated light passes.
• Remove the displaced material as you go; the line can be cleaned up by drawing the tip along it.
