ROP SU-122 (1945) 1:144 is a resin kit of a Soviet self-propelled gun from the end of the Second World War in a small scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A small resin model of the Soviet self-propelled gun SU-122 in 1:144 scale from the Czech maker ROP. The set is cast in resin and thanks to the tiny scale it has a compact number of parts; check the exact contents in the instructions included. The version marked with the year 1945 corresponds to the late war form of the vehicle.
The SU-122 was a Soviet self-propelled gun built on the chassis of the T-34 medium tank. In a shielded superstructure it carried a 122 mm howitzer intended for direct and indirect fire support of the infantry and for destroying fortifications. The vehicle was committed to action from 1943 and became one of the first series produced Soviet self-propelled guns.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the small casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). In a small scale careful spraying of thin coats with an airbrush, a fine wash into the recesses and restrained drybrushing on the edges stand out. Finish the running gear and the superstructure before the final patina of mud and dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
