A set of German hand grenades in 1:16 scale. Small items of equipment for figures and for dioramas; it is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of small equipment in 1:16 scale, specifically German hand grenades. It is not a kit or a figure but an accessory with which models of figures, belts and pouches, the insides of vehicles or crates in a scene are equipped.
Scale 1:16 is rewarding for small equipment: what in 1:35 is a barely noticeable lump has a legible shape here and is visible even from a distance. That is exactly why it pays to replace coarse kit parts with separate accessories on large figures. The grenades can be hung on equipment, laid in a crate or placed in an interior as part of the fittings.
Clean the parts, roughen the face of the joint and bond with super glue; when hanging them on the equipment of a figure, a thin piece of wire as a reinforcement helps. Apply a primer before painting. In 1:16 scale a color distinction between the individual materials stands out: wood, metal and canvas differ not only in shade but also in the way they catch the light, so it pays to work with different degrees of sheen. A dark wash and a light dry brush then bring out the shape and the structure of the surface.
The set is an accessory, not a model. It is supplied unpainted; glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
