A resin figure from the South Korean maker DEF Model in the large 1:20 scale. The subject is a modern Israeli female soldier in contemporary field equipment. These are cast resin parts for more experienced modelers and collectors; the figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The figure is treated factually and with respect, as a contemporary military figure. The large 1:20 scale brings out the details of the face, the equipment and the folds of the uniform, which makes it a rewarding subject both for display on its own and for rounding out a smaller figure scene.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and the gates and true the joints up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and fill any seams. Apply a primer before painting, build the skin up by layering acrylics or oils, and finish the uniform with dry-brushed edges and folds. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
