The KF-16 is the South Korean licensed version of the American F-16 Fighting Falcon multirole fighter, nicknamed the Viper. Under the Korean program South Korea built F-16s locally and adapted them to its own needs. The modernized Republic of Korea Air Force machines received newer avionics, radar and weaponry and form the backbone of the South Korean fighter force. The Viper is known for its high agility and for a wide range of weaponry for air combat as well as for attacks on ground targets.
Paint the cockpit interior and the wheel wells and bring them out before closing the fuselage; take care over the fit of the glazed bubble canopy. Assemble the external stores and the tanks separately and hang them on at the very end. Lay the gray camouflage down with an airbrush over a primer — F-16s often carry several shades of gray; you will manage the transitions with fine airbrushing, and bring out the panel lines with a discreet wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
