1:32 Chodníčky Bf 109 5 x 75 mm (Oramask)

Omask 1:32 Bf 109 walkways (Oramask)

A set of self-adhesive masks in Oramask film intended for spraying the non-slip walkways – the marked areas at the wing root on which people walk when servicing the aircraft and climbing into the cockpit. The mask bounds the shape of the walkway, so you spray it cleanly and with crisp edges. The dimensions are sized for 1:32 scale (5 strips, about 75 mm).

The real subject

On the wings of Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighters, walkways were marked at the wing root to protect the skin and to keep the crew and ground personnel from slipping. They were usually set off from the surrounding finish by color or by an outline.

Use

• Stick the mask onto a dry base coat in the place of the walkway.
• Press the edges down carefully against paint creeping under.
• Spray the contrasting walkway shade with an airbrush or a brush.
• Once the paint has set, remove the mask carefully.

Who it is for

• Modelers who want precisely bounded walkways
• Builders of the Bf 109 in the large 1:32 scale
• Anyone after clean work without masking freehand with tape

This is a modeling accessory (masking film), not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
